An Ocean man has been charged with assaulting his brother, who lives in Little Silver.
According to court records, the Ocean man kicked his brother in the ribs on Jan. 13, causing difficulty in breathing and severe pain.
He was charged with aggravated assault and held on $5,000 bail with a 10 percent option.
His first court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 7.
