Halloween Liquor Store Robbery Being Investigated
The robbery occurred at the Rumson Buy Rite liquor store.

A Halloween night robbery at the Rumson Buy Rite liquor store is under investigation, Rumson Police Chief Scott Paterson said.
A customer, while paying for goods at the East River Road store at about 8:30 p.m. became agitated, pushed the cashier, grabbed what was estimated at roughly $800 from the open cash register drawer and fled, Paterson said.
The unknown male has not yet been apprehended.
"Anyone with any information related to the incident should call the Rumson Police Department," Paterson said.
