These are real estate statistics for the towns in the Two River Area - Little Silver, Oceanport, Rumson, Fairhaven, Monmouth Beach, Red Bank, Shrewsbury and Middletown for November 2011.  This report is published on a monthly basis detailing the current housing inventory, homes sold and how many homes are under contract.

November home sales in the Peninsula region were seasonally slower, declining to 60 units sold compared to 62 units just one month earlier.  Housing inventory in the area contracted by 128 to 743 units as we moved into the holiday season and the number of days on the market lengthened to at least 4 months on average.  

It is still a buyer’s market out there!  The slow economic recovery has kept rates on the 30-year mortgage remained at historical lows, around 4.00% and the 15-year rate is at 3.25%.
