Maybe the Eighth Grade Can Help Those People in Washington

Kids need to go to DC, so eat your rice and beans.

What with the bus and hotel and food and tours ... Just think of it as our very own federal stimulus project.

If our young leaders of tomorrow are going to get to stand in the shadow of Lincoln's memorial, they're going to need some help with fund-raising.

Thank goodness for the moms.

Check out this news from Suzanne Anderson, mom of Lily Anderson:

I will be chairing a new fundraiser to benefit the Maple Place 8th grade class. I have partnered with Qdoba Mexican Grill in the Shrewsbury (Marshalls) Plaza. It is a casual family restaurant with fresh, fun food. I will be selling coupon sheets valued at $50 for only $10 per sheet. The coupons are redeemable through 5/31/12. The Class of 2013 will receive $9 from every coupon sheet sold. It is a great value for anyone interested in purchasing and an amazing 90% of each sale will go to the class! They will be available for purchase at Wolf Hill School and Maple Place School's Back-to-School nights and throughout the school year. For more information, call Suzanne at (732) 996-4574.
