Maple Place Assembly Stresses Resilience for Teens

Standup comedian/psychologist to speak at Maple Place

On Tuesday October 2 at 1pm, Maple Place Middle School will be having an assembly featuring Matt Bellace, a NYC standup comedian, psychologist and motivational speaker. The show focuses on three qualities that allow teens to be more resilient: Leaning on Healthy People, Coping with Emotions and Confidence to Rise Above. Mr. Bellace aims at handling a sensitive topic with the perfect combination of stand-up comedy, interactive demonstrations and inspirational stories. Maple Place parents are encouraged to attend! Check out his website, www.mattbellace.com. As always, this program was funded by the generous donations to the Oceanport PTO.
