Oceanport Residents Have a Few Choices for Staying Informed
Oceanport Residents have many ways to keep informed in critical situations.
First, visit the borough website at http://www.oceanportboro.com/. Be sure to “Bookmark” the borough home page and save it for quick reference later. Click on the long red bar for EMERGENCY MESSAGES AND ALERTS.
While you’re there, take a look at the borough home page and you’ll see quick access tabs near the top of the page.
Click on the CODE RED tab on the left side of the HOME PAGE. Register for Code Red and choose your alert type. Emergency notifications are automatically checked for you, but I encourage you to register for General Notifications as well. Don’t worry, this information is maintained by a third party and not an open public record. As conditions change, CODE RED calls will become a primary means of communicating important information to you.
