Jose Gonzalez Soto, 73, of Red Bank, passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, at Chapin Hill Nursing Center.
He was born in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, and had lived for most of his life in New York.
Soto was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Soto and Rumardo Gonzalez; his son, Jose Gonzalez; brothers, Ramon and Gonzalo Gonzalez; his sisters, Mirta Rios and Alejandria Santiago.
He is survived by: his son and daughter-in-law, Angel and Denise Gonzalez, Jackson Twp.; two brothers, David Gonzalez , of Syracuse, and Carmelo Gonzalez, of Wildwood; a sister, Olga Gonzalez, of Moca, PR; five grandchildren, Virginia, Michael, Lisa, Michelle and Jennifer; and four great-grandchildren, Sophi, Kaitlynn, Justin and Michael, Jr.
Visitation is on Thursday, from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 5:30 p.m. at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
