June 6th marks the annual Art Show at Markham Place School. Mrs. Nicole Lawlor Markham Place's Art teacher is showing over 1200 new art projects created this school year.
The art show will also feature incredible photographs created by seventh graders during a new digital photography elective. This course was made possible by an EFLS grant for digital cameras.
Mrs. Nicole Lawlor and her seventh grade student, Veronica Yaron, had the distinct honor of being featured in the TCNJ Art Innovation and Ideas Exhibition. The exhibition recognized exemplary artwork created by New Jersey’s K-12 students, as well as showcase innovative lessons designed by New Jersey’s talented art teachers. The event was juried by world renouned artist and author Faith Ringgold.
