WHY: Residents are actively seeking answers and/or clarification about the decisions being made regarding the rebuilding of their homes. Who’s guiding the decision-maker’s thinking as they dictate the solutions being imposed upon the public? Contractors must no longer be allowed to build and rebuild using old school techniques and methodology. The Building Industry must embrace new technology, safe building practices, and innovation supported by accreditation in order to provide consumer safety, property value protection, all of which can be cost-effective so that no single person or family gets left behind. We must SLOW DOWN TO SPEED UP.
