Joseph E. Stampe to Lead Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations

Meridian Health is delighted to announce the addition of Joseph E. Stampe as President, of Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations.

  Prior to coming to Meridian Health, Joe most recently served as Vice President of Development for the Princeton Healthcare System, where he undertook and successfully completed a remarkable $171 million comprehensive campaign that significantly exceeded its goal.

 “Joe brings to Meridian a wealth of knowledge and impressive accomplishments,” says John K. Lloyd, FACHE, president of Meridian Health.  “During his career he has managed portfolios of significant leadership gift prospects and personally secured major capital and gifts of up to $25 million, as well as obtaining significant donations from foundations and corporations.”

 Joe has over 20 years of experience in the fund raising field, beginning in 1988 at Drew University as the Associate Director of Alumni Affairs and then at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1992, where he held director positions in Alumni Affairs and Annual Giving. In 1997, Joseph accepted a position at Rutgers University Foundation as Director of Development at Rutgers College remaining there in several positions, including Assistant Vice President for Development, until 2004 when he became Vice President of Development for the Foundation of University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey until 2006.

 Joe is a lifelong resident of New Jersey.  He and his wife Jennifer currently live in Allentown, New Jersey, with their three daughters.
