Masked Marvels, Games Coming to Markham!
School-wide cultural arts event AND special evening in store for Markham's 5th and 6th graders this Friday.
Friday, January 25 is a big PTO day at MPS!
In the morning, "Masked Marvels & Wondertales" will be presented by Michael Cooper at 8:30 and again at 9:50. Referencing his childhood growing up on a ranch, Cooper spins tales and weaves stories using an unusual and colorful cast of characters. His is a world where dogs wear hats, wild stallions are tamed, giant noses sneeze, and fish bait candy to catch children in a pond. A show for all ages, it is sure to capture hearts and stimulate imaginations.
And then.... get ready.... it's Game Show Night! A special evening JUST for 5th and 6th graders, this event will take place from 7-9pm in the MPS Cafetorium. Please encourage your 5th and 6th graders to come and have some fun without their older or younger siblings!
