The Future of Home Staging

I just discovered a really cool and much more economical way to "virtually stage" a home. Check out the attached picture, can you believe this room is digitally furnished!?

I've been using Staging for the past few years to assist in selling "lived-in" homes with great success.  I truly believe that the homes I've had staged have sold faster and for more money then they would have otherwise.

Often I am faced with the challenge of selling a house where the seller has already moved on and emptied the house of all, or most, of the furniture and decor.  Rooms without furniture often look cold and make it impossible for a buyer to get that "warm & fuzzy" feeling that propels them to write up an offer.  I know that it is crucial to show buyers the home’s potential because the majority of people can't envision it themselves.  The problem is that staging a vacant home is really expensive!  It involves renting furniture, accessories and moving costs. Not to mention, there is always a chance of damage to the furniture and/or the house during the moving process.

Up until recently, this was the only tool seller's had and because of the expense, most would opt to leave the house vacant and hope for a seller with "vision" to come in and buy it.  Unfortunately, this can take a long time and the longer a house stays on the market, the lower the sales price.  So what is a seller to do?
