Oceanport Christmas Tree Lighting Draws Huge Crowd!

Borough of Oceanport Recreation hosts annual Christmas Tree Lighting this past Sunday.

On Sunday evening, Oceanport residents came out to enjoy the mild weather and get into the holiday spirit. Holiday songs were led by students from Shore Regional High School, Maple Place and Wolf Hill Schools.

Following a brief welcome by Mayor Michael Mahon, a group of excited children helped with the highly anticipated count down. Right on cue, Santa Claus arrived to lead residents to the Port-Au-Peck firehouse pictures and refreshments. The event, sponsored by the  Oceanport Recreation Committee, drew a record crowd!
