Oceanport Basketball Night at Monmouth U on Friday

OCEANPORT BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION NIGHT THIS FRIDAY AT THE MAC!

Monmouth University has offered to host the Oceanport Basketball Association at this Friday's (November 9th) men's basketball game against Hofstra at 7:00 pm at the MAC.

All Oceanport/Monmouth Beach/Sea Bright children through 8th grade will be given free admission and high school aged kids will be given a reduced ticket price. There will be a special table set up for Oceanport/Monmouth Beach/Sea Bright kids by the entrance and we will have our own section in the stands.

Hopefully, we will be able to have some of the kids play a game of "knockout" at halftime. We did this last year and it was a whole load of fun for the kids and their parents.

If you are interested in attending, please e-mail us at obahoops@att.net as soon as possible because we have to give Monmouth University a head count by Thursday morning.

Thanks should go out to Troy Madison, Oceanport Knights Senior Boys Coach, for putting this together. If your kids play for the Knights, have them wear their Knights jerseys (white side out). If your kids play rec, have them wear their rec basketball shirts from last year or their rec soccer shirts from this year.

In short, just try to make sure that your child is wearing a shirt that identifies them as being from Oceanport, Monmouth Beach or Sea Bright.
