Monmouth Man Wins Radio Spot on WFAN

Lifelong sports fan gets dream opportunity to host weekly show

His beloved New York Yankees may not have won on Monday night but even the loss was likely not enough to dampen Howell resident Joe Giglio's spirits.

WFAN, one of the most popular sports radio stations in the Tri-State area, announced that Giglio had won its third Fantasy Phenom contest, beating out a field of four other sports fans and aspiring broadcasters.

In an announcement on its website WFAN (660 AM) announced that Giglio will host a weekly radio show on WFAN starting in the fall.

Having graduated from DeSales University in 2008 with a degree in sports management, Giglio currently works as a freelance sports writer.
