According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the number-one killer of men and women in the U.S. On Friday, February 1, to recognize the American Heart Association’s national “Wear Red Day” initiative, Kimball Medical Center, a Barnabas Health facility, will hold a “Go Red Heart Day Fair” from 1 to 3 p.m. in Conference Rooms A and B in the hospital, located at 600 River Ave. in Lakewood.

The event will raise awareness of heart disease, heart attack and heart failure, as well as provide information on prevention and management of these conditions. In addition, guests will learn about cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes, smoking cessation and dietary management. Free blood pressure and bone density screenings and a body fat analysis will be provided, as well as information on additional community resources.

For more information on the Go Red Heart Day Fair, please contact Cathy Belardo, Quality Coordinator at Kimball Medical Center, by calling 732-942-5736.

I had my car repaired at Collex and they were a fantastic collision company to deal with. They wereRead More understanding, professional and after the work you could not tell the car was ever damaged. I highly recommend them. PR
