Shore Chronicles is an extraordinary collection of fifty accounts of visits to the Jersey Shore between 1764 and 1955. The book includes writing by well-known figures John J. Audubon, Walt Whitman, Robert Louis Stevenson, Stephen Crane and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
It also includes ordinary people with remarkable impressions of their travels along New Jersey's 127-mile coastline.
