See Flooding? Let Us Know

With heavy rains expected Monday, residents are urged to report any flooding or road closures.

Residents are advised to keep an eye out for any flooding, as heavy rains are expected to soak Little Silver and Oceanport with new rainfall amounts of a quarter to half an inch Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Though flood warnings have been issued for other parts of New Jersey, as of 10 a.m., there has been no warning issued for Monmouth County.

Oceanport Police Chief Harold Sutton said Sunday's rains resulted in the closure of Eatontown Boulevard between Crescent Place and Route 36, as the road is prone to flooding due to a drainage problem.
