A traffic shift will begin on Monday evening while construction on the Newman Spring Road bridge which connects Red Bank and Tinton Falls continues.

The four-lane road will be reduced to two lanes, one westbound and one eastbound, a message on the Tinton Falls web site states.

'This will be a 24-hour lane shift and will last till the end of November 2013," the message states. "The project is being performed by the Monmouth County Engineers Office"
