7:08 p.m.: And we're off... 20 members of public at #FMERA meeting here in Tinton Falls.

7:10 p.m.: #FMERA: DOT rep Robert DeSando to talk about GSP improvements planned.

7:30 p.m.: Proposal to move #FMERA meetings to 6 p.m. may be voted on later.

8:00 p.m.: Bruce Steadman, secretary of #FMERA is working with state police and homeland security to develop a policing plan for post Sept. 15 closure. Oceanport  Mayor Michael J. Mahon suggested reconstituting EMS subcommittee so EMS services could be included in police plan. Steadman agreed to consider this.

8:28 p.m.: Transfer of Howard Commons property to #FMERA and then to developers not likely until late fall or later. Waiting on environmental reports. Property won't be redeveloped w/o input from Eatontown mayor and citizens. Environmental commission expects 3 drafts of Army environmental reports by end of May.
