Little Silver Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Have you been displaced by Hurricane Sandy or did your home sustain significant damage? A grassroots effort is taking shape in Little Silver to lend you a hand.

Unable to sit on the sidelines and watch their neighbors struggle following the raging wind and floods of Hurricane Sandy, a group of Little Silver residents are banding together to try to bring some relief to those displaced by the storm.

Little Silver Point Road resident Michelle Lane is helping to spearhead an effort to provide assistance to neighbors who sustained devastating property damage when the storm blew through on Monday.

She already had a list of about 20 names on Friday of families from all over town -- Lippincott, Silverside, Amelia and Winding Way for instance -- affected by the storm.
