With the heavy rainfall, numerous roadways are expected to flood, with minor to moderate property damage possible, according to a Coastal Flood Watch issued by the National Weather Service.

Coastal residents are advised to take action to protect their property. Don't leave your vehicle at a location prone to tidal flooding, and don't drive your vehicle through flood waters, as the water may be deeper than you think it is. You may be putting yourself in danger and/or damage your vehicle, leading to costly repairs.
