Five Things You Need to Know Today: March 23, 2011

A list of the need to know info for the citizens of Little Silver and Oceanport.

1. Put on your snow boots and break out the umbrella, today is going to be wintry mix! The National Weather Service is calling for a 100 percent chance of precipitation today of both rain and snow; after 4 p.m., only expect rain, however. The high today will be around 38 degrees fahrenheit with an east wind between five and eleven miles per hour.  Expect no more than one inch of snow to accumulate.

Tonight, there will be snow and sleet falling before 1 a.m., which will shift to rain and snow--again there is a 100 percent chance of precipitation! Possible snow and sleet accumulation overnight will be less than half an inch.
