Bucs and Blue Devils Rule the Gridiron

I don't want to jinx anything, but we're gearing up for playoff coverage around here. Both and 's football teams bumped their records to 4-2 this weekend. , and it was . Congrats to both teams on their respective wins, and hey, the Jets won, too!

RBR Rocks Regatta

Here's a sneak preview of something we'll be serving up in greater detail at little later on...

Buoyed no doubt by the excellence of the junior sailing program at Oceanport's Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club, the RBR Buccaneers took 11th out of 18 teams at a Long Island regatta this weekend featuring top notch sailors from around the region. The Bucs finished second among New Jersey schools (Toms River South was best, coming in 4th), beating out Monsignor Donovan (15th), Rumson-Fair Haven (16th), and CBA (18th). Coach John Garth said yesterday that his team's performance was impressive considering the elite competition they were up against, and that his young sailors just keep on improving. More to come...
