This might be the bright spring day we've been waiting for. The National Weather Service is forecasting mostly skies with a high near 58. It will be breezy with a northwest wind blowing between 16 and 22 mph. In the evening things will cool off, with thermometers in Little Silver and Oceanport expected to read lows of 37 degrees.

2. Lock Your Doors and Remove Valuables

In case you missed , you should know there have been thefts from unlocked cars in the area and Little Silver police are urging residents to lock their vehicles and remove their valuables, as locked cars are not being victimized.

3. This Date in History

Happy Birthday, Rome. The Italian city that spawned an empire is 2,764 years old today, according to the History Channel. Romulus and Remus founded Rome on April 21 in 753 B.C.

Also epically relevant, though in the history of mustachioed men, Rollie Fingers of the Milwaukee Brewers became the first pitcher to reach 300 saves on April 21, 1982.
