The sun may peek out for a bit today, but mostly it'll be hidden behind a blanket of clouds, according to the National Weather Service. Winds will blow east 5 to 10 mph during the day and shift south into the evening. The clouds will disappear as the sun sets for a clear night.

Folks from New Jersey and beyond are mourning the loss of a great musican as Springsteen saxophonist Clarence Clemons passed away Saturday at age 69 of stroke complications. Only 70 people finished behind me in the , so don't be surprised if I show up at tonight's free health and fitness workshop at the Wikoff Building in Red Bank. From 6:30 to 8 p.m. fitness blogger Elaine Morales will teach the secrets to a total transformation of body and mind. Morales says it's all about changing thoughts and behavior, so I'll be interested to hear what she thinks I can do about my Ben and Jerry's addiction.
