We'll have a wet start to Tuesday, and showers are likely to continue throughout the day with a high of 68, according to the National Weather Service. It will cool off to 55 in the evening, when the chance of showers is expected to drop from 50 to 20 percent.

Resolved, that the Flag of the thirteen United States shall be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the Union be thirteen stars, white on a blue field, representing a new constellation.

There have been 27 official versions of the stars and stripes since the 13 star original, with the last update on July 4, 1960 after the statehood of Hawaii.

Car Burglary Suspect Charged

Local police believe they've found the culprit responsible for the rash of thefts from unlocked cars in the area. parked in municipalites across Monmouth County.

There is a trial yet to come and Tyler is presumed innocent of all counts until proven guilty, but regardless of the verdict, it's probably still a good idea to lock your car doors at night, especially if you park in the street.
