Missing Oceanport Diabetic Found Dead in Eatontown Parking Lot

Police discovered Timothy Hunt dead in his car in the Toys R Us parking lot early Saturday afternoon.

A diabetic Oceanport man who went missing Wednesday evening was found dead in his car by Eatontown Police this afternoon.

Police found the vehicle of Timothy Hunt, 53, in the Toys R Us parking lot around 1:14 p.m. Saturday, with Hunt deceased inside.

Hunt's family reported him missing to the Oceanport Police Department on Friday morning. They had not heard from him since after dinner Wednesday, believing he drove off either late Wednesday or early Thursday.

A mass e-mail sent Saturday morning in an attempt to find Hunt stated that he was a diabetic who may have been without medication for three days.

The Eatontown Police are conducting a joint investigation with the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, and at this time, Hunt's death is not considered suspicious.

Diabetic Man Missing

Oceanport family hasn't heard from Tim Hunt since Wednesday evening, fears he is ill or hurt.

Tim Hunt, brother of Oceanport resident Susan Hunt, went missing Wednesday night after dinner.

Hunt, a diabetic, may have gone over three days without medication, and his family fears he could be ill or hurt somewhere.

Family and other concerned Oceanport residents in Oceanport believe Hunt may be in Monmouth, Ocean, Burlington or Atlantic counties, according to an e-mail sent to Patch on Saturday morning.

Tim Hunt is a 5'11, 200-pound man with blue/gray eyes, blond/gray hair, a goatee and glasses.

He left sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning driving a 2004 black Toyota Avalon with Illinois license plate X822557.
