For last minute shoppers looking to visit the to stock up on batteries and flashlights to prepare for Hurricane Irene, you will want to try elsewhere.

As of 1 p.m. Saturday, the shelves were barren at the Prospect Avenue store, with a "sold out" sign listing "C" and "D" batteries, as well as flashlights and LED lights, among items wiped out by the masses.
