What's going down in Little Silver and Oceanport today.

  1. Waiting on a better sunny day: People, hang tight. You just need to get through the early soggy portion of Tuesday to make it to Wednesday's predicted sunny skies and temperatures creeping into the 70s. At least it will be mild with the thermometer reaching the low 60s.
  2. I gotta know right now: Okay, if you are still with me, you should know that today is the day to vote on the referendum to add full-day kindergarten to . Polls open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and if you need information, like, concrete data and not just stuff your neighbor told you, you can click here.
  3. Nice and slow: Drivers need to know that the police recognize you're in a rush, you've got places to be and things to do, but they're still going to need you to obey speed restrictions. have officially in the borough and are also getting patrol cars out to remind drivers to slow down. And don't even think about talking on your phone or texting. Don't say we didn't warn you.
