Deja vu: Looks like today should be a nicer version of Monday with sunny skies and mild temps in the high 50s but without all those wind gusts, according to the National Weather Service. As such, I am rescinding yesterday's bad hair alert and encouraging loose hair and dangly earrings.

Little Pink: Have you heard that is painting the town pink to show its support for Riverview's sixth annual event in support of an annual mammography? Organizers are encouraging folks to PINK their houses as part of a community-wide contest and are offering a starter kit to add some pink flair to your home to be judged the weekend of May 4. To do list: The start of April always triggers two terrible reminders for me: one, summer vactaion is right around the corner and I have no viable child care situations set in place; and two, my taxes need to get done in the next two weeks. Hoarders: Do you tend to stockpile old prescriptions that have outlasted their usefulness or simply expired? I know I have quite a collection of those clear orangey containers piling up in my medicine cabinet. is participating in Operation Take Back New Jersey on Saturday, April 28 to help you safely destroy all that valium and Amoxicillin leftover from your knee operation and that sinus infection last fall. You can dispose of your unused, unwanted medicine by bringing it to boro hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
