I would like to share with you a very interesting article by Dr. Mark Burhenne, a fellow dental blogger. Many of us forget that sugary candies are not the only bad foods for your dental health. Below is an excerpt from Dr. Burhenne's blog.
"One of the stereotypes of dentists is that we don’t want you to eat sugar or candy. While this is for the most part true, there are many more foods that are even worse for your teeth, many of which are even disguised as health foods or, even more damaging, food for children."

I found this article fascinating. Realistically, as long as we practice good oral hygiene by brushing and flossing daily we can reduce the damage that starchy carbohydrates can cause on our teeth.
