State Senator Jennifer Beck is among several law makers in the state proposing the reduction of mandatory license suspensions for those convicted of drunk driving. Can anyone explain what she was thinking when she considered such a proposal? Did she ever speak to the families of those victims that were mowed down by drunk drivers? It's bad enough Ms. Beck sponsored Kyleigh's Law, S-2314, which requires the placement of a red sticker on the license plates of our youthful drivers-- in essence placing a bulls-eye on young-adults making them susceptible to the nefarious deeds of sexual predators and other abusers of youth—now this?
Contact Senator Beck and let her know, when it comes to the safety of our citizens—perhaps she should let other legislators take the lead in sponsoring/co-sponsoring such bills.
