Open House: Restoration Begins at National Historic Treasure in Little Silver

It has survived the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and the countless storms that have battered the Jersey Shore for centuries. It has avoided fire and flood and miraculously escaped the developers’ wrecking ball.

The Parker Homestead-1665 committee is hosting a free open house, Sunday December 22, 2013 from 1pm-4pm so that the public can see the beginning phase of the interior restoration of the farmhouse at 235 Rumson Road, Little Silver, which is on the National Register of Historic Places and NJ Historic Register.
