Moose's Tavern Replaces Long-Vacant Charlie Brown's in Tinton Falls

The restaurant, which serves tavern fare like burgers and steaks, opened on Monday.

Moose's Tavern opened on Monday night in the former Charlie Brown's restaurant in Tinton Falls that has been been vacant since 2010.

The eatery, located at 1202 Sycamore Ave., offers traditional tavern fare -- like a classic burger and prime rib -- as well as some more creative dishes like boneless shortribs served with mozzarella on a pretzel roll, according to their web site.

The restaurant celebrated its official grand opening on Monday, March 4 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Tinton Falls Mayor Michael Skudera and Borough Business Administrator Jerry Turning .

“I am happy to welcome Moose’s Tavern to Tinton Falls and wish them success,” Skudera said in a release.

The grand opening celebration featured live entertainment, complimentary raffles and free prizes.

Moose’s Tavern opens at 11:30 a.m. and serves lunch and dinner.
