It's Official: Rook is Coming to Little Silver

The popular coffee roaster signed an agreement to set up shop in the Little Silver Train Station.

Beginning this fall, coffee drinkers in and will have more to choose from then just regular and decaf for their cup of joe.

announced Thursday that it will take over the concession at the Little Silver Train Station, following negotiations with the borough, and bring its 10 single-origin specialty coffees to more than just commuters.

Rook customers will have access to twelve 15-minute parking spaces, allowing them to get in and out without any hassle, according to a release from Rook.  Those on the go, like commuters, will be able to text in their orders and pay from their Smartphones.

“While we are excited to be a convenience to the daily train commuters, we intend to be a hub for the local community to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee as well”, said co-owner Holly Migliaccio.  

As in their other locations, this fourth spot will also serve 10 single origin specialty coffees, as well as daily fresh baked goods, bagel flats and other goodies.

Rook opened its doors in January 2010 and has retail shops in Oakhurst, Long Branch and Ocean Township, a roastery in Ocean Township and an online shipping service.

“The town of Little Silver has been fantastic to work with, and we couldn’t be happier to be bringing our product and service to the community," said co-owner Shawn Kingsley. "Our intentions are to be in Little Silver for many years to come."
