Empty in Little Silver: Wicker Rose

Now that the long, long, long-empty property near the train station has been purchased, what would you like to see go there?

couldn't have come at a better time.

The upcoming closing of , right around the corner of Ayers Lane next , will add just one more empty commercial space in that area, and we can't really afford to lose any more businesses.

By quick count, the studio joins the former Giovanni's, Sole Solution, Exxon and the aforementioned Wicker Rose and gas station properties. There's also an empty space along the bend onto Willow that used to house an auto mechanic (please, someone help me with the name). Even the train station remains without a concession provider, even though there had been .

But we digress, since there has actually been movement on the property that has been tied up in that complicated Dweck mess, and now we can dream about what we'd like for our town. We are told the new property owner is looking to develop the property for a low-traffic commercial use, such as a retail establishment or a bank.
