Tara Kelly Named VP of Monmouth Medical Center Foundation

Kelly, a Little Silver resident, had formerly worked with the Red Cross.

The Monmouth Medical Center Foundation has a new Vice President - Little Silver resident Tara Kelly, former CEO of the American Red Cross Jersey Coast Chapter.

Kelly held various positions with the Red Cross, including Chief Development Officer, COO and CEO of the Region's Red Cross Headquarters.

“This is such an exciting time to join Monmouth Medical Center - the emergency department has been rated among the top five percent in the nation and a commitment to technological advancement, such as the recent debut of the gamma knife, remains strong.” says Kelly.

Kelly, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration from Kean University and certification in marketing and promotions through New York University, created a development infrastructure at the Red Cross, driving the organization through numerous disaster relief operations, including Hurricane Katrina, 9/11, and the 2005 tsunami.

While with the Red Cross (part of a 20-year career in the non-profit sector), Kelly also directed the organization's only capital campaign, resulting in a new facility housing a blood bank, training facility, and disaster depot center for the tri-state region.
