Sickles Market to feature local talent during Artist's Day weekend

Artwork will be available for purchase.

On Saturday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 20, Sickles Market will host its Annual Artist’s Day weekend from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Each day, approximately a dozen artists will display their work and hold demonstrations in the market’s greenhouse. This event is free to the public, and 100% of the proceeds from purchased artwork will go towards the artists.

“This is a great time of year to enjoy our greenhouse,” said Bob Sickles, third-generation owner of Sickles Market. “It’s stocked full of beautiful plants and the natural light is perfect for displaying art. We are lucky to have so many talented local artists dedicating their lives to creating works of art and Sickles is happy to give the space to them to exhibit,” he added.

Artists work in several mediums ranging from watercolors, oils, pen and ink, textiles and recycled materials, plus many more.
