It’s farmers’ market season in New Jersey, and the state Department of Agriculture is encouraging residents to buy local.
There are plenty of opportunities to snap up fresh Jersey produce at local farmers' markets along the Shore, many of which offer much more than fruits and veggies. Some have extended seasons and will be set up weekly through October or later.
Check out our list of Jersey Fresh Farmers’ Markets, and leave suggestions for other great produce shopping spots in the comments section.
