Why you should go: Red Bank's will divvy up for a cross-town battle in their first full-length bout, complete with a G-rated vaudeville show before the match begins. Proceeds benefit the 8th Grade Class at Red Bank Middle School and the Roller Vixens. Tickets available for purchase online.

Why you should go: You can support four local women who will be walking for breast cancer research by attending this fundraising party. Local band Motherboard will rock the house with hits from the 80's and 90's and there will be plenty of giveaways and raffles featuring items from local businesses.

Why you should go: This weekend, the Monmouth Street purveyor of food and drink keeps up their reputation for providing excellent live music by bringing RB3: The Red Bank Blues Band back to where they got started.

When and where: Sunday, Jan. 22 at noon at  in Eatontown

Why you should go: The Knights of Columbus are calling all kids from Eatontown, Tinton Falls, Shrewsbury and Oceanport who are 10-14 years old as of Jan. 1, 2012 to compete against their peers to see who can sink the most free throws. Proof of age is required, so if you plan on going, bring a copy of your child's birth certificate.
