Oceanport's Summer's End Festival this Saturday

It’s a bittersweet time in Oceanport with the Summer’s End Festival scheduled for this weekend, which squeezes the last bit of fun out of summer activities while signaling the end of carefree days and late nights.

The free annual event, sponsored by the Borough of Oceanport in conjunction with the Oceanport Parks and Recreation Committee, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 from 5 to 9 p.m. (Rain date, September 13th).The annual Summer’s End Festival at Blackberry Bay Park will feature fireworks, fire truck rides, children’s rides, music and food for sale:
