Breast Cancer Awareness Dance Show - October 18th

In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Red Bank Catholic “Dance Company” will perform a show especially dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. Through dance and song, the performers beautifully and respectfully express the different stages of this terrible illness and the strength it takes to fight it. The show will guide the audience from the initial diagnosis, through the struggle of treatment and finally to the stage of receiving help and support from friends and family.  The performance is meant to serve as a wakeup call for early detection and how it saves lives.

The RBC Dance Company is an elite group of dancers selected each year for their technical and artistic dance skills.  They represent the “best of the best” of the RBC Dance Department.  Dance Company performs during the year at dance festivals, benefit performances and main stage concerts. They have previously at performed at Disney World and at the 2010 Orange Bowl.  Most Dance Company alumni pursue dance as a career.  Presently some are dancing on Broadway tours, cruise ships and the Rockette Christmas Spectacular.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Show is October 18th, at 7:00pm in the historic Red Bank Catholic Broad St. Auditorium.  No tickets will be sold, but a suggested donation of $10 at the door is appreciated.  Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Beauty Foundation, which assists Breast Cancer patients with the cost of wigs and reconstructive surgery.
