Downton Abbey Tea Party at Little Silver Library

Patrons were treated to a tea party and speaker at Little Silver Library to celebrate the premiere of Downton Abbey, Season 3.

Take a group of librarians with a penchant for the Masterpiece Theater television series, "Downton Abbey," put them in gorgeous hats from that era and add delicious finger sandwiches, scones and a variety of teas. Stir in a food historian/tea specialist and you have the recipe for an enchanting Saturday afternoon program at Little Silver Public Library.

To celebrate the release of Season 3 of "Downton Abbey," the library held a tea party for library patrons which featured a guest speaker. Judith Krall-Russo presented an enlightening lecture entitled "Life at the Edwardian Manor" relating it to the time period as fictionalized in the TV series.

Following the lecture, guests enjoyed homemade finger sandwiches, scones and assorted goodies prepared by the librarians and some of the patrons. Guests were invited to take home their teacups/saucers as a souvenir of the memorable afternoon. A fantastic time was enjoyed by all in attendance.

I had my car repaired at Collex and they were a fantastic collision company to deal with. They wereRead More understanding, professional and after the work you could not tell the car was ever damaged. I highly recommend them. PR
