It’s not often you’re able to hit the high score as the ball drops in Times Square. This Saturday you can bring in the New Year with your old friends Pac-Man and Donkey Kong as hosts its first ever New Year’s bash, an adults-only event featuring plenty of time with your favorite arcade cabinets from your youth. For your purchase of a $25 ticket you get four hours of open play on all of the available arcade and pinball machines, pizza, and a champagne toast at midnight. The party is also a BYOB. is offering two floors and two options for New Years revelers this Saturday. Guests are invited to show up for the free party on the first floor where there will be live music from 6 to 9 p.m. To party with the Good Life on the second floor requires a $20 cover. Doors open at 8 p.m. and there is a first come first served basis on all tables. Music by the Good Life starts at 10 p.m. The Downtown is also invited groups to call up to discuss possible food and drink options for New Years. Just a block down Front Street, the is partying on New Years Eve with a three-hour open bar from 8 to 11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from bartenders at the Globe any time before New Years Eve – that’s Saturday – for $25. The open bar includes domestic drafts as well as mixed drinks. Those who wait to purchase their tickets will have to spend an additional $10. For entertainment, DJ Mindless will be providing music and his light show.

On the west side of town, is offering a relaxing but still memorable way to bring in the New Year. Included in your attendance will be live music, party favors, a complimentary glass of champagne at midnight, and a shortened menu of food favorites. Danny’s is also offering a $110 dinner for two that includes a bottle of wine, a salad, steak entrée, and dessert. To make your reservations call (732) 741-6900.

Broad Street’s is offering exclusive reservations for its upstairs lounge. Tables in the upstairs lounge can be reserved any time after 8 p.m. New Years Eve for $40 a person. Holding the table also gets you champagne to toast to 2012. Red is providing standing room-only slots in its upstairs lounge for $20 a person. Everyone in the lounge will be provided with champagne. There will be no cover to visit the downstairs bar. To make reservations call (732) 741-3232.

At the Galleria, is hosting its own New Years bash complete with appetizers, a champagne toast, and the Taste girls who, according to Taste, will make the night one you will never forget. The $20 cover gets you entry to what organizers hope will be a great party, complete with a champagne toast and musical entertainment from This Is It Entertainment.

Monmouth Street’s Italian hotspot has got everything you need to celebrate New Years the right way. Though the ticket price, $150 per person, is larger than you’ll find at most local places bringing in 2012, Buona Sera is providing everything you need for a great a time. The ticket includes a five-hour open bar that runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., passed hors d’oeuvers, a four-course family style dinner and champagne toast at midnight. Buona Sera also has live entertainment in the form of a DJ and dancing in the Umbriago room until 2 a.m. Call the restaurant for reservations at 732-530-5858.

Teak Restaurant has two options for New Years partiers, too. For no cover charge, patrons can ring in 2012 in the restaurant and still have access to a DJ dance party, regular menu, and champagne toast. According to Teak, you can also kick it up a notch by reserving a spot in the Teak lounge where you'll have access to a three-hour open bar, DJ dance party, and three-course dinner for only $100.
