Burglars forced their way into a Silverside Avenue home over the weekend and made off with electronics while the homeowners were away, according to Little Silver Police.

Chief Daniel Shaffery said that the house was broken into while its owners were away on Saturday and Sunday.

Shaffery said that right now, there is no indication that the break-in is related to the recent burglary on Point Road or any of the other incidents that occurred this spring.

"The most important thing is if you see something, say something," Shaffery said of the importance for neighbors to report suspicious vehicles and individuals.

"Don't be easy prey," he continued. "Use your alarms and lock your doors."
