I am not an engineer, but there is a thing called common sense. You cannot build all of Pier Village, and all the Condo's, and apartments, the Beach, the Racetrack and expext all the cars to only travel on a two lane and then on Joline a one lane to the Ocean. It should be three lanes from the racetrack to the Parkway heading West. They should not have stopped the three lanes on Route 36 East by the Hess station. It should have continued all the way to the racetrack. You have State engineers who do not live around here, so they have no clue about our traffic situation. And it will not get better, only worse.

They should have just done an overpass at 35 & 36. What they did, did not help the traffic! Take a hint from Californias roads!

The old Eatontown Circle - am I dating myself? - was a mess. Not sure how many times it's been changed since then, but I hope that (a) this is the last time for a good long time and (b) this finally works. And yes, I agree that Rt 36 should have been widened further east.

As long as we are talking about Route 36, what would it take to get the section from the Dunkin Donuts past the DMV heading West to the car agencies to be repaved, and let them also include the U turn circle by the DMv. It is the worst. Yet the State found money to repave the road from Monmouth Park to the Ocean on Route 36 in both directions, Hmmm!!
