Deer carcasses on Allenwood Road in Wall, Wyckoff Rd...Tinton falls

In Monmouth County, a virtual "herd" of deer on Gully Road in Wall Township.

Beryl, a "virtual" herd? So, they weren't real?

Several deer seen crossing Tennent Road in Morganville as night fell....and also Dwight Road in Middletown at 5 p.m., when it was still light out!
I don't think it was the same ones. :)

From north of 520 and Route 34, and Route 34 southward, there are plenty of deer to be seen in the woods or fields.

Please be careful, as Each year deer each year that kill 200 Americans, whereas sharks have killed 10 people in the USA in the past 10 years. In New Jersey, such accidents are becoming more common every year.

Sadly, to avoid serious injury, don't swerve. Slow down as quickly as possible, without slamming the brakes and skidding. When you swerve, you increase the chances of losing control of your car, injuring yourself, hitting another car, and hitting that deer in the road.

Saw many on Shafto Road, Tinton Falls and Fernwood in Eatontown. Can never be too careful this time of the year!

um,, stop building, duh,, they have NO WHERE TO GO WE ARE TAKING ALL OF THE LAND!!!!

There is a house by the Middletown train station, right off Middletown-Lincroft road on Holland that has a salt lick in the front yard. This results in deer constantly congregating in the yard (I've seen as many as 8) and bounding across the road in a very busy area - definitely a hazard.

Why don't they move the deer crossing signs to less busy roads? The poor things.

I have seen themwalking along Church Street in Matawan, right before the church on the corner across fromm the firehouse and going into the small group of trees before and after the parkway bridge in Holmdel.

I saw 2 deer on Laurel Ave in Hazlet the other day. They were right on the shoulder of the road.

An active deer crossing in Middletown is Kingsway East just to the east of Sleepy Hollow Road, their activity has been increasing lately.

I saw one lone deer last week on Park Ave in Middletown. No idea as to where it came from as this is mostly all housing and very little woods. Almost hit one a few years ago on Leonardville Road right under the Navy overpass. You never know where you'll find them, just be alert for them at all times.

there is a small herd of 4 or6 that are in Tindel Park ,Middletown and they are on lawns and near Tindel road near the High school north.

Huge herd on 520 between Route 34 and 79...you can see them at dusk on the Camp Arrowhead field and they jump out at you going east down the big hill to Route 34i. There is also a mini-herd of about 10-12 practically in downtown Little Silver on Prospect Ave. Be careful near the firehouse!

Everywhere in Hills-Estates of Holmdel (vic Telegraph and Centerville Rds). They hang out on front lawns both in small groups and herds of 10 - 15. Talk about "defensive driving!" - It makes sense to assume that there will be deer ahead at every turn or bend in the road. (Keeps us all below the residential speed limit).

We have seen 4-6 deer at the monmouth park racetrack on Oceanport ave and 2 or 3
deer at woodbine cemetary on eatontown blvd so drive carefully after dark.

Not that it is overly local, however, it shows how far wildlife can travel. According to the Jersey Shore Hurricane news on Facebook, there is a bear in the Camp Evans area of Wall Twp. If a bear can get there, I'm sure they'd have no issues reading Homdel, etc.

Every morning this week I have encountered deer on Stavola Drive and Sleepy Hollow Rd. The area on Sleepy Hollow is posted deer area. I have been told this area is part of a deer path.

I see deer every single morning on Nolan Road in Morganvile between the Middle School and Reid Hill Rd. Actually came 5 feet from hitting a baby deer this morning.

Silverside Ave, Little Silver and Rumson Road in Rumson. I drive with my hand over the horn in case one jumps out. The honk is the only thing that gets them out of the road quickly.

...just about everywhere in Holmdel...always on Roberts Rd.....always on my street...guess they know it's Deercrest Dr...they enjoy my gardens for their salad course!

Every morning at 4:30 I see a lot of deers on Spring Valley rd @ Texas rd
