Stay Cool at Little Silver Rec Camp This Week
Send kids in their bathing suits Tuesday and Wednesday for sprinkler games.
With temperatures climbing back into the 90s this week, Little Silver rec camp is giving kids a fun way to stay cool.
Organizers have planned sprinkler games for Tuesday and Wednesday, so parents should send their campers in bathing suits and ready for fun. Beach towels should be labeled with kids' names or parents could opt to let them quickly drip dry under the heat.
For Markham Place School campers, grades 5-8, children should bring two empty rinsed 2-liter soda bottles to camp on Tuesday to make water bottle rockets which will be safely launched about 150 feet into the air using air pressure from a tire pump.
Other recreation events in Little Silver include:
- REC YOGA CLASSES AT THE WOMAN'S CLUB
