Setting the Stage for a Major VNA Event
Set-up for the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group's gala event has taken place over the past few days.
There's no need to cross the Sea Bright Bridge from Rumson to realize that there is yet another centennial celebration going on this weekend on the other side.
It's no secret that the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNAHG) is hosting a major fundraiser, dubbed the VNAHG Centennial Celebration Gala, this weekend at the Chapel Beach Club in Sea Bright — Saturday, June 23, to be exact.
The organization is celebrating 100 years of service. As released information on the event (published earlier) says, "Since 1912, the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNAHG) has been providing in-home care, hospice services, and community programs to residents in need."
Rumson-Fair Haven Patch caught a glimpse of the major set-up involved in the event. Sources have told us it takes about three days' worth of work. Looks like they're just about ready to roll out the red carpet.
Take a look at our photo gallery on the event's set-up. Congrats, VNAHG!

Congratulations to all the wonderful volunteers and staff members who have literally changed thousands of lives in our community for over 100 years. Their dedication is a testimony to how the kindest of others truly keeps the world turning....and saves so many lives. A special thank you to Nancy Montserrat, who helped me and my family so many times in her usual upbeat and gracious manner. Here's to another successful 100 years of service by this remarkable organization. Susan Porter
